MBA, Department conducted “Spectrum 2010” an in – house management fest on 13^th & 14^th November 2010  to make the students expose to the experience of corporate work culture & feel the cut throat market competition.  Mr Kiran Kumar Store Manager of  Big Bazar was the guest of honor .   Dr M.B.Patil director of AITM & Shri Amaresh Patil HOD, MBA Departement raised their gracious presence.

Mr Kiran Kumar addressed the students  about the tremendous need of MBA graduates in retail sector and entrepreneurship opportunities for young and budding managers keeping in mind the need  and want based customer need..   Shri Suresh Angadi addressed the students with respect to  the right attitude for MBA graduates to have a bright career in corporate world and called the students to make utmost use of the valuable time in their learning phase. Dr M.B. Patil addressed the students and made the point of importance of technical skill with regard to computer proficiency for MBA graduates Prof Amaresh Patil HOD MBA Dept addressed saying mere attaining classes will not help the students  but then students will have to take an opportunity to undergo live project to learn the professionalism and dedication towards work and building the right learning attitude throught the career  The program was hoisted by Ms Reshma T & Ms Ashwini G. Ms Dipika N welcomed the guest and finally  vote of thanks by Ms Amruta.G

As a part of management curriculum, MBA  students visited  Watson Pharma Pvt Ltd.  The students got a chance to know about the production process, the functions particularly with respect to HR Department .  Initially the company officials informed about history & man power of the company,   the students were also informed about the whole production process starting from the raw materials till the final dispatch.  This kind of  industrial visit are really fruitful for the management students because the students can experience the practical knowledge which they have studied in their books.

Zest, is an MBA forum of students dedicated towards grooming the talent of the forth coming managers it provides a platform for the students to showcase their talents, skills & abilities.  Zest promotes & encourages active participation from the students towards conducting events, seminars & conferences

ZEST SIMPLY MEANS FULL OF ENERGY & LIVELINESS

Therefore we rightly call this forum as ZEST……………..Where energy rulezzzz!!!!!!

The forum was inaugurated on 5^th March 2011 by  Dr. A. R. Rotti, Principal of SSS Samithi college, Belgaum in the presence of Dr. H. N. Nagaraj, Director of AITM & Prof  Amaresh Patil, HOD, MBA Department.
