Association of Civil Engineering Students
The association of civil engineering students was inaugurated on 10 March 2011 by the chief guest Dr. K. Ravi H. O. D. Civil Engineering Department Gogte Instuite of Technology, Belgaum, presided by Dr. H. N. Nagaraj Director AITM Belgaum. Dr. Ravi gave an exposure of various streams of civil engineering. He also spoke about the application and advances in civil engineering and also about the present scenario and expectation of the construction industry from the budding civil engineers.
The Civil Engineering Association at AITM is formed with the primary purpose of exposing our students, civil-engineers-to-be, to the rigours of the profession with both students and faculty as its members. The association of civil engineering students responsible for conducting a lecture series, dispensed by distinguished practitioners & faculty, in order to educate our students and update their knowledge and skills .
